December 03, 2017 through April 2018
Starting this December, I am performing in The Motley Shakespeare Players production of William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale. In this touring production of Shakespeare's romance play, 7 actors play over 18 characters. I take on 5 different roles including the outspoken Paulina and the roguish Autolycus.
In The Winter’s Tale, King Leontes allows his jealousy to overtake him, creating a ripple effect that spans two kingdoms and sixteen years. Full of love, music, dances, and a bear, this production explores the family tragedy and redemption in this play.
Audiences can see The Winter's Tale in Staunton, VA on December 03 in the Masonic building or December 05 at The Kettle at 8:00 pm. For more information about The Winter's Tale or to book a performance, click here.
October 2017 through April 2018
The Motley Shakespeare Players debuted our touring production of William Shakespeare's As You Like It earlier this October. Motley Shakes will be touring this abbreviated production of As You Like It to elementary, middle, and high schools in Staunton and Virginia.
In Shakespeare's comedy, As You Like It, characters venture into the Forest of Arden, where things turn upside down as worlds collide. Full of love triangles, disguises, songs, and motley fools, our hour-long version of this classic play focuses on the joy we find in love and companionship.
You'll see me as a variety of characters: Amiens, a musical lord living in the forest; William, a simple country man in love; and Hymen, the god of marriage.

This 2017-18 season, I will be a player in The Motley Shakespeare Players, the Mary Baldwin Shakespeare and Performance MFA company. Throughout the year, we will produce six productions--As You Like, Doctor Faustus, The Winter's Tale, Pericles, The Knight of the Burning Pestle and a devised piece that draws inspiration from these plays. Along with acting, I will also be working as assistant stage manager, choreographer, and dramaturg on various productions as well as working with the company's educational programming.

Throughout July, I will be participating in a summer intensive at the Prague Shakespeare Company. As part of the intensive, I will perform in a staged reading of The Comedy of Errors (Antipholus of Ephesus) directed by Paul Prescott and Katherine Steele Brokaw, as well as The Death of Kings: Seize the Crown (Alice/Bastard of Orleans) a conflation of 6 of Shakespeare's history plays, directed by Irwin Appel. This spring, I am part of a four-member ensemble that will perform The Two Noble Kinsmen at Mary Baldwin University. In this production, I take on a minimum of 5 different roles including the Jailer's Daughter and Hippolyta.
William Shakespeare and John Fletcher's The Two Noble Kinsmen is an adaptation of Chaucer's Knight's Tale. The two kinsmen, Palamon and Arcite, are captured while fighting for Thebes against Athens. While imprisoned, the two cousins' professed friendship comes under pressure when both men fall in love with Emilia.
The Two Noble Kinsmen performs at the Kettle in Staunton, VA on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 8 pm.
